 ~ 55% percent of Major League Baseball players played American Legion Baseball as teenagers. 
~ Nearly 75%  of all college players played American Legion Baseball as teenagers. 
~ Sixty Seven American Legion Baseball graduates have been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. 
 ~Since 1926, Major League Baseball has honored The American Legion World Series Champions.
  
This season marks the 91st anniversary of American Legion Baseball, which continues to be "an investment in America's youth." The program's history proves that America's youth receive on the baseball diamond a thorough understanding of the value of sportsmanship, leadership and individual character building. 

​Portland Eastside Baseball Stands United


Through generous grants and donations, for players ages 6-19, we offer an affordable option to the high cost of elite baseball programs throughout our city.
Our Mission Statement: We are a non-profit working to expand opportunities for low-income youth of all ages to play baseball, from youth leagues through high school. Our goal is to offer low-cost and cost-free opportunities for youth who otherwise would not be able to afford the high cost of participation. We aim to expand access to the positive youth development and collegiate pathways that this sport and supportive coaches can provide. Please consider donating, sponsoring a player for the summer, or passing the word along to individuals and/or businesses who you feel may be interested in supporting this mission. Every donation helps us to secure fields, purchase uniforms and equipment, pay for league registrations, allow for coach trainings and provide umpire compensation. In turn, this lowers the cost for participating families,



​PEBC aligns with the Seattle Mariners to bring affordable baseball/softball summer camps to Portland Eastside youth and the greater Portland Area. Check back often, registration for the 2023 summer camps will soon be open!
